Rai Valley A & P Show

Held on the 1st Saturday in March every year. This year on 6th March 2010. At the Carluke Domain in Rai Valley. Just up the French Pass Turn and then Right into the Tennyson Inlet Road and you will find it.

Gates open at 7.00 a.m. and the show ends when the band finishes (approx midnight). We have live entertainment throughout the day and night.

We have a GRAND PARADE at approx 2.00 p.m.

SHOW HIGHLIGHTS :

RAI CHALLENGE
Competitors strive to shear a Sheep, Skin a Possum and carry a pig around an obstacle course. 
Children can enter this for Free. Adults entry is $5. Individual and Team events.Get in quick, entries are limited, great prizes to be won!!
Starts at approx 11am.

SMALLHOLDERS AUCTION
This auction is great for lifestylers to sell off any excess stock and to maybe add a few more to their collection. 

WOODCHOPPING
Come along and see some woodchopping action as competitors compete in events throughout the day.

STURGEONS AMUSEMENTS
How about a ride on the Ferris Wheel, while the kids are on the merry-go-round, or battle it out on the mini go-karts, plus Sturgeons side-shows and food galore!

COMPETITION EVENTS
We have one of the biggest shows in our area for competitors to participate in. Check out the Horse, Cattle and Sheep sections in the morning, and the showjumping in the afternoon. We have a whole hall full of indoor exhibits on display from lunchtime onwards.
