Rai Challenge

Rai Valley A & P Show – 6th March 2010 11.00 a.m.

A three part Challenge, based on time, to complete the following:
SHEAR A SHEEP - SKIN A POSSUM
CARRY A WILD PIG AROUND AN OBSTACLE COURSE

Entries for teams, individuals and kids must  be in by 10.30am show day. Entries are limited, so be in quick.

Children’s entry is FREE. 

Adults entry fee is $5 per person.

Rules for the Adults Challenge: 
Sheep: Appropriate footwear must be worn. START on timekeepers signal. 
One sheep to be clean shorn (5 seconds time penalty per cut.) 
Must tag possum skinner on completion.
Possum: START only when tagged. 
Possum to be clean skinned (5 second time penalty if skin minus tail.) 
Must tag pig carrier on ute.
Pig: you may prepare the pig for carrying when shearer starts BUT MUST STAY AT THE UTE. 
Once tagged, you must complete the entire obstacle course carrying the pig. Shortcutting will result in disqualification. Any carry style O.K. Pig may be taken off at any stage during the course. 
Time stops when pig is back up on Ute.
NO ASSISTING TEAM MATES!! JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL.

CHILDREN
According to the child's size, they will carry 1, 2, or 3 possums 
around an obstacle course.
